Abington has perhaps the widest variety of housing in the area. From historic farmhouses and beautiful single-family homes to apartments and luxury townhouses, there is something for everyone. It also maintains some of the most affordable housing prices and cost of living in the county, making the quality of life and small-town charm accessible close to the bustle of Philadelphia.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Keswick Village in Glenside is the place to be when it comes to dining. However, it’s not the only place of interest in the Abington school district area — the township boasts several large shopping centers and a handful of delightful stores throughout.

Glenside favorites include Keswick Tavern, a family-owned spot that makes the perfect place to stop before or after catching a show at the Keswick Theater across the street. Jasmine Asian Bistro is an award-winning Chinese restaurant that has been in Glenside since 2008. Roberts Block is a fine dining experience complete with an impressive wine list and a homey atmosphere. The Ways is a family-friendly brewery with a menu full of local liquors and beers crafted in-house. A notable non-Glenside find is Vintage Bar and Grill. Vintage serves hearty American fare to eat while watching the game on one of their many flat screens.

Shopping in Abington is made luxurious and simple thanks to Willow Grove Park Mall. With big stores like Macy’s and Bloomingdale's, plus Aldo, Express, and Hudson Leather, Willow Grove Park Mall is there for everything you may need.

Things to Do
